The USWCA is a vital organization in the curling world. We have so many activities for member clubs: the nationwide All American event, Five and Under regional tournaments, two annual national bonspiels, three regional junior bonspiels, exchange tours with Canada and Scotland, junior curling supply programs, a development fund focused on female curlers, and of course a rich heritage of camaraderie among women throughout all of these curling events.
We enter an Olympic year hoping for our women, all from USWCA member clubs, to personify the US and the great sport of Curling with hopes that they bring home a medal too! The Winter Olympics has traditionally been a harbinger of club growth across the USA as the sport enters the limelight through televised games. As a body of women dedicated to curling, the 2009-2010 season is one where we can truly be of service to the sport and each other.
Contact your Club's Representative to see the new USWCA directory. This directory is more than a list of names, it is a list of resources for you and your club. Do not hesitate to reach out to me, or the committee Chairs, or to any USWCA member for support and ideas. We all have one goal in mind- the promotion and growth of curling across the United Sates. I look forward to a banner season for the USWCA!
Good curling,

Jennifer Stannard
