66th Annual USWCA National Bonspiel
The 66th USWCA National Bonspiel will be held at the Broomstones Curling Club in Wayland, MA on February 12 - 16, 2014. The Hampton Inn, 319 Speen Street, Natick, MA 01760 will be the headquarters for the Bonspiel. Rooms have been reserved at a rate of $113 + tax per night for double occupancy, which includes breakfast. Reservations may be made via this link

Team Karst Champions 'Rockin' on the River' Champions
The 64th Annual USWCA National Bonspiel, "Rockin' on the River" was held in St. Paul, Minnesota from February 15 - February 19, 2012 and was hosted by the Arden Hills Cairn Lassies.
Holding the broom for the ceremonial throwing of the first rock was Paula Arnold. Paula is a founding member of both the St. Paul Bonnie Spielers and the Arden Hills Cairn Lassies A soon-to-be 85 years old Paula is still actively curling with the Cairn Lassies and helped out on the Hospitality Committee. President Maureen Guay threw the opening stone which was swept to the button by eight Past Presidents.
On Sunday morning in keeping with tradition, the finalists were piped onto the ice. The Fourth Event was a match between two Eastern area clubs - Potomac and Utica - with Potomac prevailing. The Third Event saw a Duluth team hold on to win over Cape Cod. The Second Event had an interesting match-up of old and new USWCA Clubs. A team from Coyote Curling Club, Arizona skipped by Susan Lang was defeated by Marcy Calaway's team from Exmoor - one of the original USWCA clubs. The first event saw two Wisconsin teams pitted against each other - Lori Karst's Madison 2 team defeated Bonnie Dixon's Kettle Moraine 1 squad.
