Eleven states were represented in the four teams from across the United States who competed in the 2012 USWCA Senior Women's Friendship Tour. The teams met in Victoria on October 31st, and competed at a total of seven clubs over the next eight days. Three were on Vancouver Island, where the city of Victoria is located (Victoria, Lake Cowichan & Nanaimo Curling Clubs) and four on the mainland, in the Vancouver area (Royal City, Richmond, Cloverdale & Marpole Curling Clubs). Games were followed by a hospitality provided by the host club, and then entertainment was provided by the Friendship Tour. All games pitted the USA teams against Canadian women, with the exception of Marpole, where teams were composed of mixed American-Canadian teams -- a fitting, especially sociable conclusion to our "friendship" tour!
