Proposed Revised Bylaws and Supporting Documents
Following our March 2025 Board of Directors meeting where we discussed additional changes to our future state Bylaws, we are pleased to provide the proposed revised Bylaws for your review ahead of the Board of Directors vote in September 2025. The following documents are available:

For your reference - two documents that provide insight into specific changes:
- The current Bylaws with comments embedded throughout explaining changes that were made and/or where content is being moved (some of the documents referenced as a destination for content removed from the Bylaws are still in progress with an expectation they will be completed by September).
- A simple table summarizing the changes that are proposed by section (changes made since the March Board of Directors meeting are highlighted in yellow).

Bylaws, Standing Rules, and Policies
Here you can find the USWCA Bylaws, Standing Rules, and Policies document. This document is typically updated after each Fall and Winter Meeting. It was last updated March 11, 2024.
New Concept/Proposal Submission Form
An individual may submit a request for the formation of a new Ad Hoc Committee, to move an existing Ad Hoc to a Standing Committee, to create a new event/program or to establish some other concept new to the United States Women’s Curling Association.
USWCA and USCA Rules and Regulations
Here you can find the USWCA Rules and Regulations which govern all USWCA sanctioned events. All games are played under current World Curling Federation Rules of Play with some USWCA exceptions so noted in the USWCA Rules and Regulations. The USWCA Rules and Regulations were last updated on September 2024. The USCA Rules of Curling were updated in July 2023.
Inclusion Position Statement
The USWCA Inclusion Position Statement was approved in February 2017. It begins with the belief that in keeping with the USWCA mission, we seek to develop, nurture, and promote the sport of curling respecting the dignity of all individuals.
Code of Conduct Statement
The USWCA Code of Conduct Statement was approved in September 2022. It is grounded in the Spirit of Curling and its focus is on members treating each other with respect and courtesy. Also included in this document is a Problem Resolution Process and information on the USWCA Facilitator position.
Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy
The USWCA Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPPS) and the SafeSport Certification Process was approved in September 2022 and revised in September 2023. The USWCA requires all its elected Officers and all its Standing Committee Chairs to be and remain certified by the US Olympic Committee (USOC) SafeSport training process.
USWCA Conflict of Interest and Code of Ethics Policy
The USWCA Conflict of Interest and Code of Ethics Policy was approved by the Board of Directors in March 2024. All elected Officers and officials as well as all USWCA Standing Committee Chairs must sign the Conflict of Interest and Code of Ethics Disclosure Statement (Conflict of Interest and Code of Ethics Disclosure Statement - fillable version) on an annual basis during their term(s) of office.
USWCA/USCA Liaison Conflict of Interest
The US Curling Association (USCA) has a formal Ethics and Conflict of Interest Policy. The USWCA has adopted its own USWCA/USCA Liaison Conflict of Interest Policy to ensure that its Liaison will not have a conflict of interest when serving as a Director on the USCA Board.
Any candidate for USWCA/USCA Liaison will be asked to fill out the proposed Conflict of Interest Disclosure Statement when applying for the position.
Articles of Incorporation
The USWCA is the oldest national curling organization in the United States. Here you will find our Articles of Incorporation which were filed December 26, 1985 in the state of Illinois.
Constitution
An appointed committee framed a constitution which was adopted in October 1947 and the USWCA was founded. This copy of the constitution is from 1952 and is preceded by a cover letter.
