Super Senior Women's Bonspiel 2022

The 1st Annual Super Senior Women's Bonspiel

Blackhawk Curling Club, Janesville, Wisconsin

January 11 - 12, 2022

The inaugural Super Senior Women's National Bonspiel was held January 11 - 12, 2022 in Janesville, Wisconsin at the Blackhawk Curling Club. On a Tuesday and Wednesday, they hosted 'An "Old Fashioned" Winter Escape'.  Chair for the event was Kim Rudkin.  This event is for women 65 years of age or older from all member clubs and Members-At-Large. Curlers enter as individuals (not club teams) and are mixed with curlers from other regions.  You may enter a composite team but only 2 players from the same club are allowed on the team.  The other 2 players must be from different regions or clubs.  The purpose of this event is to mix players from different regions onto a team.  The teams played 6 end games on 3 sheets of ice with a 3 game guarantee.  Completed entry with check needed to be received by November 4, 2021.  Entry forms are available for download in the right side bar.  The cost is $60 per individual. The host hotel was the Holiday Inn Express Janesville.

There were 14 teams from across the United State playing in the 2 day event and all regions were represented including a few Members at Large. This is an opportunity for curlers who are 65 years and older to reunite.

Congratulations to the 1st Event Winners, the Stephens Rink.
